Facilities
The Hall has the capacity and amenities to cater for in excess of a hundred people and, with its classic truss ceiling, has something of the feel of a medieval hall. It is a hall that lends itself, therefore, to use for parties, receptions and banquets in particular. There are ample tables in various shapes and sizes for all types of functions, and the small, permanent stage can be extended on request to provide the setting for entertainments (stage sizes shown on plan). There is a fully automated screen and projector which can be used on request.
The Terrace We are delighted to be able to offer our visitors the new terrace as part of their hall hire. Completed in 2023, it offers an outside space, via a pair of French windows and with lovely rural views, for al fresco refreshments for small gatherings. We ask our visitors to consider our excellent and supportive neighbours by not making excessive amounts of noise especially in the evening.
We are delighted to announce that as of mid July 2022, we have Gigaclear broadband available in the Village Hall, the access code for which is pinned on the notice board at the back of the hall.

Please note that we have no TV Licence so ask hirers NOT to view emissions for which a licence would be required (any fines incurred will be passed on to the respective hirer at the time).
The Committee or Meeting Room can be hired independently from the main hall having its own access, lavatory and small kitchen. An excellent, well lit space, it is suited to small social gatherings for up to 20 people, classes and business meetings etc. Hiring charges will depend on whether the kitchen is required so please contact Edwin to discuss your requirements.

Kitchen Facilities
The well-equipped kitchen (with double oven, fridge, microwave oven, industrial dishwasher, catering-size hostess trolley and catering mains-fed urn) is sufficient to cater for functions for up to around one-hundred-and-twenty guests. Crockery to facilitate this size of function is available on request and is included in the booking fee, otherwise there is ample provision for smaller functions always available in the kitchen. There are serving hatches into both the main hall and the committee/meeting room (photographs below).
NOTE: Hirers are required to remove all rubbish after their booking - no rubbish may be left at the hall.

Parking is on three sides of the hall together with limited on-street parking which is usually sufficient for all hall functions.
OUTSIDE LAVATORY
The outside lavatory which is used by visitors to the Playing Field and entirely funded by the Manor Room (cleaning, provisioning, water and sewerage rates, and maintenance), is closed until further notice. Whether the lavatory is to be re-opened is entirely at the discretion of the Manor Room Committee.
