The hall has the capacity and amenities to cater for in excess of a hundred people and, with its classic truss ceiling, has something of the feel of a medieval hall. It is a hall that lends itself, therefore, to use for parties, receptions and banquets in particular. There are ample tables in various shapes and sizes for all types of functions, and the small, permanent stage can be extended on request to provide the setting for entertainments (stage sizes shown on plan).
The well-equipped kitchen (with double oven, fridge, microwave oven, industrial dishwasher, catering-size hostess trolley and catering mains-fed urn) is sufficient to cater for functions up to around one-hundred-and-twenty guests. Crockery to facilitate this size of function is available on request and is included in the booking fee, otherwise there is ample provision for smaller functions always available in the kitchen. There are serving hatches into both the main hall and the committee room (photographs below).
Parking is on three sides of the hall together with limited on-street parking which is usually sufficient for all hall functions.
